This event will explore the challenge of equipping the global built environment community with the right knowledge, skills, standards & tools to implement sustainable, resilient and just solutions fit for the future. There will be special focus on empowering marginalized and underrepresented groups with perspectives from the Global South & North. The session will also focus on Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) at COP29, a representative from World Green Building Council will showcase their work to develop an ‘NDC Scorecard’ against which national NDCs can be assessed regarding their focus on the built environment / buildings.
