Resilience4Ports (R4P) is a multi-stakeholder whole-system approach in the global maritime sector that seeks to enhance the resilience of ports and the communities that rely on them. As the world undergoes fundamental shifts due to decarbonisation, technological advancement and climate change, R4P seeks to ensure that maritime systems can withstand, recover from and respond to these changes.
A new collaborative effort to build a global engineering workforce that is equipped with the right skills, in the right places. It aims to become the definitive multi-stakeholder platform for tracking progress across the engineering profession, identifying emerging trends and skill requirements, and informing policy and investment decisions.

This Foresight Review will seek to achieve new clarity on the definition of Nature-positive Engineering, gain insights into the current state of practice, insights and research in this field, identify new and emerging trends, and provide a framework for traditional engineering approaches to become ecology-inspired from ideation to implementation and delivery.

The Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI) has commissioned The Global Infrastructure Resilience Survey (GIRS) with ICSI as the Lead Technical Partner. The Survey is a global study that will gather perspectives from infrastructure professionals worldwide and deliver unprecedented insights into infrastructure resilience across regions, sectors, and institutional structure.
The Plan to Accelerate Solutions (PAS) for Resilient and Adaptive Transport Infrastructure is a collaborative initiative under the Global Climate Action Agenda. Led by ICSI, it brings together key global stakeholders to accelerate the development and implementation of resilient and adaptive transport systems.
A project to operationalise the World Risk Poll by conducting statistical analysis of the Poll data to identify factors influencing people’s choice of and trust in sources of information about disasters, as well as levels of individual and household preparedness. In partnership with ICSI, UCL and the Lloyd’s Register Foundation.
